What this page will not do
It tries the password you type, once. It does not guess, and it does not walk through a list. A wrong password stops with a message. A file that has no password is re-saved as it is, and the note says so.
The copy is a new PDF made from the pages the password revealed. Someone who should not have the file should not be given this download. Removing the password removes that lock for anyone who receives the new file.
