About these tools
File tools join PDFs, pull pages out, reorder them, or rebuild pages as pictures so the file is smaller. Unlock opens a PDF with a password you already know and saves a copy without that password. It does not try other passwords.
Page tools turn a page, trim a margin, draw a page number, draw a watermark, place a typed name, or fill form fields that are already in the file. The typed name is text on the page, not a digital certificate.
Export tools save pages as JPEG pictures, or copy the text the PDF already stores as letters. A scan with no text layer comes out blank. Photos go the other way on JPG to PDF, which is already on this site.
Questions
Does the PDF leave my device?
No. The file is read in the tab. The download is built there too.
Can I turn a PDF into Word, PowerPoint or Excel?
No. A layout rebuilt as an office file will not match the PDF, and these pages do not pretend that it will. PDF to text copies the letters the file already stores.
Can I set a password, redact a line, or run OCR?
No. This set cannot encrypt a PDF, and a black box would leave the words in the file. OCR is not included. Unlock only works with a password you type yourself.
Do I need an account?
No. Every tool is free, with no sign-up.
