How to use it
- Choose the PDF.
- Pick a smaller file, or clearer pages.
- Press Compress PDF. Up to 30 pages.
What you give up
The new file is pictures of the pages. You cannot select the text, follow a link, or fill a form in it. A smaller setting uses a rougher JPEG. Clearer keeps more detail and a larger file. Neither setting is a guaranteed percentage off the original.
Files over 30 pages stop with a message. Split a range first, compress that piece, then merge if you need one file again.

Questions
Will the file always be smaller?
Usually, because the pages are now JPEGs. A PDF that is already a few small pictures can stay about the same size.
Can I still search the text?
No. The letters are part of the picture. Use PDF to text on the original if you need the words.
Does this change the file I picked?
No. The original stays put. The download is the new file.
