How to use it
- Enter a language code and the URL for that language.
- Add another language if you have one.
- Set x-default if you have a fallback URL, then copy the tags.
The codes
Use a language code such as en or hi, or a language and region such as en-GB. The page does not check the code against a list. Each version of the page should carry the full set of tags, including a tag for itself.
x-default is not a language. It is the URL you want when no language matches. Leave it blank to omit that tag.

Do I put these on every language page?
Yes. Each page lists all the alternates, including its own URL.
What code is India English versus Hindi?
en-IN and hi are the usual codes. Use the codes your site already publishes.
Does this translate the page?
No. It only writes the link tags.
