How to use it
- Type the app name, title, subtitle and body.
- Compare the iPhone lock screen, the banner and the Android cards.
- Read the line under each card for what gets cut off.
Where the text gets cut off
The iPhone cards follow a 393-point phone. The lock screen keeps one title line, one subtitle line and four body lines, in a width of 329 points. The banner keeps two body lines, in a width of 280 points. The subtitle is shown on those two iPhone cards. Android follows a 360 dp phone with the 2025 notification margins, so the text column is 272 dp. The shade and the heads-up keep one title line and one body line. The expanded card keeps seven body lines. The heads-up card is capped at 136 dp.
Android also keeps the first 1024 characters of a title or a body, which is the platform limit on that text. The estimate uses a typical character width, and the cards clamp to the same line counts, so a long word and a narrow window can end a line a little sooner. The summary under the cards names every surface that cuts the text.

Questions
Which screens does the preview show?
The iPhone lock screen, the iPhone banner, the Android shade, the Android heads-up and the expanded Android notification.
Where does the subtitle appear?
On the iPhone lock screen and in the iPhone banner. The Android cards show the title and the body.
What gets cut off?
Text past the line count for that surface. The lock screen keeps four body lines, the banner keeps two, and the Android shade and heads-up keep one. Android also keeps the first 1024 characters.
How close is this to a real phone?
The widths are a 393-point iPhone and a 360 dp Android phone. A narrower browser window can wrap a line sooner, and the summary says so when the card is narrower than that model.
