How the times are calculated
Dhuhr is when the Sun crosses the meridian, and Maghrib is at sunset. Fajr and Isha are when the Sun is a set angle below the horizon, and that angle depends on the method: 18° and 17° for the Muslim World League, 15° for ISNA, 18.5° and 90 minutes after Maghrib for Umm al-Qura. Asr is when an object's shadow equals its length plus its noon shadow, or twice its length in the Hanafi method.
The Sun's position comes from a precise astronomy library, and the times use your city's time zone with daylight saving. Far north or south in summer, the Sun may stay too high for Fajr and Isha to happen by angle; the page then uses the rule you choose, such as the middle of the night. Mosques sometimes add a few minutes for safety, so small differences from a local timetable are normal.

Questions
Which calculation method should I use?
The one your local mosque or community uses. The page picks a common default for your region, such as ISNA in North America, Umm al-Qura in Saudi Arabia or Karachi in India and Pakistan.
What is the difference between Hanafi and standard Asr?
Standard Asr begins when a shadow equals the object's length plus its noon shadow. Hanafi Asr begins when it equals twice the length, which is later in the afternoon.
Why do the times differ from my mosque by a few minutes?
Mosques may use a different method or add safety minutes to Fajr, Maghrib or Isha. Choose their method here, and allow for their adjustments.
Can I print a monthly timetable?
Yes. Open Month timetable, press Show this month, then Print.
