How to use it

How the total and the validity date are set
Each line is the quantity times the rate. A discount comes off that amount, and the tax is worked out on what remains. Shipping is added after the tax. The total is those lines plus shipping.
The validity date you type is printed on the quotation. Leave that date empty and the page uses 30 days after the quotation date. The terms you write are printed under the total.

Questions
Where does the validity date appear?
It is printed with the quote number and the quote date, and the page repeats it beside the total.
How is the total worked out?
Quantity times rate, then the discount, then the tax on what remains. Shipping is added after the tax.
Where do the logo and the signature go?
Add a logo on the business step. Draw a signature, or add a picture of one, on the terms step. Both are printed on the PDF.
Can the words in the PDF be selected?
The PDF is written with ordinary text, so the words can be selected, searched and copied.
