How to use it
- Choose Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert and press New game.
- Tap a cell, then a number. Turn on Notes to add small candidate numbers.
- Use Hint or Check if you are stuck, and finish the grid to see your time.
Rules and features
Fill the grid so that every row, every column and every 3 by 3 box contains the digits 1 to 9 once each. Every puzzle here is made fresh and checked by a solver, so it has exactly one solution that can be reached by logic. Harder levels give fewer starting numbers.
Notes keep track of candidates and clear themselves when you place a digit nearby. Highlighting shows the row, column, box and matching digits of the selected cell. Your game is saved in this browser after every move, and you can also type in a puzzle from a newspaper and solve it.

Questions
Does every Sudoku have one solution?
Yes. Each puzzle is checked by a solver before you play, so there is exactly one correct grid.
Can I play with the keyboard?
Yes. Use the arrow keys to move, 1 to 9 to fill, Backspace to clear and N to switch notes on or off.
How do I solve a puzzle from a newspaper?
Choose Enter your own, type the given numbers, and press Solve. You can then play it with hints.
Is my game saved if I close the page?
Yes. It is saved in this browser and comes back when you return.
