How to use it
- Choose the PDF. The pages appear as thumbnails; tap one to open it.
- Pick Text, Picture, Highlight, Box, Line, Arrow or Draw, and add it to the page.
- Use Select to move or resize, Delete to remove, Undo and Redo to step back.
- Press Save edited PDF.
What editing means here
Everything you add is written onto the page on top of what is already there: text as real, selectable text (Hindi and other Devanagari text uses a bundled Unicode font), pictures as images, and shapes and drawings as vector lines that stay sharp when you zoom. The rest of the PDF, its text, links and pages, is kept as it was.
It does not change words that are already in the PDF. To hide something, draw a white or coloured box over it, but remember the covered text is still in the file: use Redact PDF when it must be gone. Forms with fields are easier in Fill PDF form, and signatures in Sign PDF.

Questions
Can I change the existing text in a PDF?
No. This page adds new text, pictures and shapes on top. To cover old words, draw a box over them; to remove them for good, use Redact PDF.
Can I type in Hindi?
Yes. Type Hindi, or mix Hindi and English, in the text box. It is saved with a bundled Devanagari font, so it looks right in any PDF reader.
How do I add a logo or stamp?
Pick Picture and choose a PNG or JPG. A PNG with a transparent background keeps it transparent on the page.
Can I undo a mistake?
Yes. Undo and Redo, or Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z, step through every addition, move and delete.
Is the PDF uploaded?
No. pdf.js shows the pages and pdf-lib writes your additions in this tab.
