How to use it

  1. Add a photo. HEIC photos open in Safari.
  2. Click a pixel, or click one of the main colours.
  3. Copy the HEX or the RGB.

One pixel, and the main colours

The pixel you click is read from the opened picture, so the HEX and RGB match that pixel. A loupe magnifies the spot. The main colours come from the whole photo: the page groups similar pixels and lists the strongest colours with the share of the picture they cover.

A photo whose long side is over 4096 pixels is opened at 4096, and the page says so. On that copy the HEX is still the exact colour of the pixel you click. HEIC photos open in Safari. JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF open in current browsers.
