How to use it
- Paste the text.
- Type a word or phrase, or leave it blank.
- Read the count. Density is matches divided by the number of words.
What is ignored
The top-word list skips very common words such as the, and, and of, and skips words under three letters. A phrase you type is counted even if it would have been skipped. Matching is lowercase and does not stem words, so tea does not match teas.
Density is not a ranking score. Repeating a phrase to raise the number does not make a page better.
