How to use it
- Type the title and description.
- Add the site name and, if you have one, the image URL.
- Check the card. A missing image leaves a placeholder.
What gets loaded
If you paste an image URL, the browser requests that image so it can draw the card. The page does not upload a file. Social networks apply their own crops and caches, so a card here can differ from Facebook, X or Slack.
Use the meta tag generator when you need the actual tags. This page is the preview.

Text you type stays in the tab. An image URL is fetched by the browser from the address you entered.
Questions
Why is the image blank?
The address may be wrong, or the host may refuse to show the image on another site. Try a URL you can open directly.
Does this post the card?
No. It only previews it.
Which size should the image be?
A wide image around 1200 by 630 is the usual Open Graph size. This page does not resize a file.
