About the conversion
M4A files from iPhone voice memos and iTunes usually hold AAC audio, which some car stereos, older players and upload forms do not accept. MP3 plays almost everywhere. The page decodes each file with your browser's audio engine and encodes it again as MP3 at the bitrate you choose.
For voice notes, 128 kbps mono keeps files small and clear. For music, 192 kbps or more keeps the detail. Files are converted one after another with a progress bar, and the names stay the same with an .mp3 ending.

Questions
How do I convert an iPhone voice memo to MP3?
Share the memo from the Voice Memos app to Files, open it here, and press Convert. On a computer, drag the memo file onto this page.
Can I convert many files at once?
Yes. Open several files together. They convert one after another, and Download all saves them as a single ZIP.
Which bitrate should I choose?
128 kbps is plenty for speech and keeps files small. Choose 192 or 256 kbps for music, or 320 kbps if you want the most detail.
Can it convert other formats too?
Yes. Any audio your browser can play converts the same way, including WAV, OGG, AAC and FLAC in most browsers.
