How to use it

  1. Set the number of dice, up to 20.
  2. Set the sides, from 2 to 100.
  3. Press Roll.

How a face is chosen

Each die is an integer from 1 through the number of sides. The draw uses the same cryptographic generator as the password tool, not a seeded game random. The total is the sum of the faces. There is no modifier box: add your bonus yourself.

The page does not keep a history beyond what is on screen, and it does not animate a 3D die.

Rolls are generated in this tab and are not uploaded.

Questions

Are the dice fair?

Each face of a single die is as likely as the generator's integer range allows. It is not a physical die.

Can I roll a d100?

Yes. Set sides to 100. That is 1 to 100, not the double-digit percentile pair some games use.

Can I add +5?

Add it to the total yourself. The page shows the dice only.
