The grade points
A is 4, A− is 3.7, B+ is 3.3, B is 3, B− is 2.7, C+ is 2.3, C is 2, C− is 1.7, D+ is 1.3, D is 1 and F is 0. GPA is the sum of credits times points, divided by the credits. A class with zero credits is ignored.
Schools differ. Some use A− as 3.67, some do not use plus and minus, and some weight honours classes. Match the numbers to your transcript if it disagrees.
