How to use it
- Connect the controller and press any button so the browser sees it.
- Press every button and pull each trigger; move both sticks in full circles.
- Let go of the sticks and check the drift reading. Press Test vibration if your controller supports it.
Spotting stick drift
A healthy stick returns to the centre, close to 0 on both axes. When a stick at rest sits further from the centre than the warning value (0.1 by default), the page marks it as drift, which shows up in games as a character or camera that moves by itself. Moving a stick in slow full circles also shows whether it reaches the edge in every direction.
Controllers with the standard layout, such as Xbox and PlayStation pads, are drawn as a controller. Others are shown as a list of buttons and axes with their raw values. Vibration works where the browser supports it, currently Chrome and Edge with most Xbox and PlayStation controllers.

Questions
Why does the tester not see my controller?
Browsers show a controller only after you press a button while the page is open. Connect it, then press any button. If it still does not appear, try another USB cable or port.
How do I check for stick drift?
Let go of both sticks and watch the readout. Values that stay above the warning level, or a dot that sits away from the centre, mean the stick is drifting.
Does it work with PS5 and Switch controllers?
Yes, in most browsers over USB or Bluetooth. Some show as a list of buttons and axes instead of the controller drawing.
Can I test vibration?
Yes, in Chrome and Edge with controllers that support it. Press Test vibration after connecting.
