How to use it

- Open or take a photo against a plain light wall, then drag the guide lines to the top of your head and your chin.
- Fine-tune, then download the single photo for an online form or the print sheet.
Sizes and printing
Each preset follows the published size and head height for that document: 2 by 2 inches with a head of 1 to 1 3/8 inches for a US passport, 35 by 45 mm for the UK, Schengen and many others, and their own sizes for Canada, China and more. The guides show the allowed head range, and the photo is rendered at 300 dots per inch.
The print sheet places as many copies as fit on a 4x6 inch photo print, with thin cut lines; any photo shop or home printer can print it at actual size. For online forms that need an exact pixel size or file size, such as the US visa form, the page makes that version too.

Questions
Will my photo be accepted?
The page matches the size and head height to the rules for your document. Light, background, expression and glasses also matter, so follow the checklist and the official guidance before you print.
How do I print the photos at the right size?
Print the 4x6 sheet as a standard photo print at actual size, or at 100% on a home printer with scaling turned off, then cut along the lines.
What background do I need?
Most countries want plain white or off-white; the UK and some others accept light grey or cream. Stand in front of a plain light wall with even light and no shadows.
Can I make a photo for an online application?
Yes. Where the form asks for a set pixel size, the page makes a matching JPG and keeps it under the file size limit when one applies.
