iPhone Duo screenshot size

Apple's iPhone Duo slot takes 1398 × 2034 pixels for the outer display and 2007 × 2853 pixels for the inner display, in portrait, or the same sizes turned for landscape. It's optional today: Apple says that starting in April 2027, screenshots will be required for any app using the iOS 27.1 SDK or later.

Is it required?

Not yet. Apple's page says: “Starting in April 2027, screenshots will be required for any app using the iOS 27.1 SDK or later.” Until then the required iPhone set is still iPhone with Dynamic Island (medium display).

Apple's page doesn't name a scaled fallback for iPhone Duo, unlike the other iPhone rows, so plan on uploading both the outer and the inner size. Apple also says that when you submit iPhone Duo screenshots, your App Store product page shows a badge to let people know your app is optimized for iPhone Duo.

Format rules

JPEG or PNG only (.jpeg, .jpg or .png).
No alpha channel or transparency.
One to ten screenshots per display size.
The exact pixel size, in portrait or landscape.
