Letters, timing and the lamp
The alphabet is the ITU Morse set: A to Z, digits, and common punctuation. A word gap is written as /. Dots can be typed as a full stop or a middle dot, and dashes as a hyphen or a longer dash. SOS can be written with spaces, or as the continuous signal ...---..., and both read as SOS. A character outside the set is skipped and named.
Speed is the PARIS standard: the length of a dit, in milliseconds, is 1200 divided by the words per minute. A dah is three dits, the gap inside a letter is one dit, the gap between letters is three, and the gap between words is seven. Play uses a tone in this tab and the lamp beside the button. The lamp is the light for the pattern.

Questions
Which characters have a Morse letter?
A to Z, the digits 0 to 9, and common punctuation such as the full stop, comma, question mark and @. A character outside that set is skipped and named.
How do I separate words?
A slash, a new line, or three spaces between groups. Letters inside a word are separated by one space.
How is the speed measured?
Words per minute on the PARIS scale. The dit length is 1200 divided by that number, so 20 words per minute is a 60 ms dit.
What blinks when I press Play?
A lamp on this page, in time with a tone. Stop ends the pattern.
