Voices and languages
The voices come from your device and browser: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and ChromeOS each include natural-sounding voices in many languages, including Hindi and other Indian languages on most systems. The list shows every voice your browser offers; filter it by language to find one quickly.
Long text is read sentence by sentence, so it keeps going through whole articles and chapters. The current word is highlighted where the voice reports its position, which works with most voices in Chrome, Edge and Safari.

Questions
Can I download the speech as an MP3?
The voices play through your device's speech engine, which browsers keep inside the device. To keep the audio, use your system's screen or audio recorder while it reads.
Which languages are supported?
Every language your device has voices for. Most phones and computers include English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Chinese and many more.
Why do I hear a robotic voice?
Some systems have basic voices by default. Try another voice in the list, or add natural voices in your system's speech settings.
Is there a length limit?
The page reads long text sentence by sentence, so whole articles and chapters work.
